As our community recovers from the recent winter storm, we are providing shelf-stable breakfast and lunch meals to NCPS students TODAY, February 24, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. These meals are available for pick-up at the NCPS Central Office, which is located at 7207 Young Street, Machipongo, VA. These meal kits may contain peanuts or may be processed in facilities that also process peanuts.
As a reminder, please notify your school or supervisor as soon as possible if you are unable to access virtual instruction or work due to the loss of power or connectivity.

Due to inclement weather and road conditions on Tuesday, February 24, it will be a virtual learning day for all Northampton County Public Schools students and 10-month staff. All afternoon and evening activities are also cancelled.
All 11- and 12-month staff will report to their worksite on a 2-hr delay.
Recognizing that many in our community are experiencing power outages, please notify your school or supervisor as soon as possible if you are unable to work or access virtual instruction due to loss of power or connectivity.

This week, we celebrate the power that public schools have to transform lives and communities, one student at a time.
To all of our teachers and staff—thank you so much for all you do! #PSW26

We are currently working on rescheduling and will share the new date here as soon as it’s finalized.
Thank you for your patience and understanding. Stay safe and warm, and keep an eye out for the new date! 💙🩵

Through our partnership with Eastern Shore Rural Health, our students can access convenient dental care and preventative services right at their school! 🏫🪥

We will continue to assess the weather and provide updates as needed.
At this time, afternoon employees report at their regularly scheduled time. All classes will dismiss at their regular time. After-school and evening events will continue as scheduled.
