Caring for mental health starts with reaching out.
Northampton County Public Schools will dismiss students at our regularly scheduled dismissal time today, and staff, including afternoon employees, will also be released at their regularly scheduled time.
However, due to the potential for increased wind gusts and out of an abundance of caution for the safety of our students and staff, we are canceling all after-school activities and events scheduled for this afternoon and evening.
This includes athletic practices, club meetings, and other after-school activities, including the 21st Century Afterschool program.
We encourage families to make appropriate arrangements for students to be picked up at their regularly scheduled dismissal time and to exercise caution as weather conditions develop.
