As part of October being Disability History and Awareness Month, Northampton County Public Schools joins the Commonwealth in celebrating the history and future of our citizens with disabilities.
Our goal is to create greater public awareness and emphasize the importance of full inclusion in schools and communities for individuals with disabilities. Disability history education and awareness promotes positive attitudes in schools by creating a culture of mutual respect, understanding, and equal opportunities for all.
