Important Update: School Calendar Changes
1/27/25 will now be a regular instructional day for students.
1/31/25 is now a Teacher Workday
1/31/25 will also be the last day of the quarter/semester.
Grades for the quarter will be sent home on Wednesday, February 5, 2025.

Friday, 1/24/25 will be a virtual/asynchronous learning day for NCPS students and 10-month staff. All activities, practices, and events for Friday, except the VHSL Regional Scholastic Bowl competition, are canceled. Saturday activities, practices, and events will proceed

Due to snow and poor road conditions, January 23, 2025 will be a virtual/asynchronous learning day for all Northampton County Public Schools students and 10-month staff. All afternoon and evening activities, practices, and events are also canceled.

Our recent Parents as Educational Partners (PEP) Nights brought together ESL families, teachers, and school staff at our elementary schools for an evening of connection and collaboration. These events fostered meaningful conversations about supporting student success and strengthening the school-home partnership.

January 22, 2025, will be a virtual/asynchronous learning day for all students and 10-month staff.
11-12 month employees should contact their supervisors regarding work-from-home options. Liberal leave is authorized.

NCPS will operate on a two-hour delay schedule for students on January 21st, 2025, due to wind chills.
All staff will report on a one-hour delay.
All classes will dismiss at their regular time. Afterschool and evening events will continue as scheduled.

Northampton County Public Schools will operate on a 2-hour delay on January 14th, due to ice patches on our roadways. Because of the delay, breakfast will not be served.
All staff should report to their work site 2 hours late.

Due to continued poor road conditions, Monday, January 13, 2025, will be a virtual/asynchronous learning day for all students and 10-month staff. All activities and events for Monday afternoon and evening are canceled.

Before the break, the NHS Honor Society took middle and high school students on a heartwarming field trip for Bank of Cheer.
Together, they delivered food bank donations to over 20 families in Northampton County. This incredible experience showcased the spirit of the season!
