Coordinator of Professional Learning

Coordinator of PL

Hi! I’m Robin Ward, the Coordinator of Professional Learning for Northampton County Public Schools. I’m originally from Illinois and graduated from Northern Illinois University in 2010. That same year, I began my teaching career at Occohannock Elementary—and I’ve proudly called the Eastern Shore home ever since.

Over the years, I’ve taught at both the elementary and middle school levels and the Teachers for Tomorrow I Dual Enrollment course, helping high school students explore careers in education. Since 2020, I’ve served as the Coordinator of Professional Learning, where I support new teachers in building strong instruction and creating positive, well-managed learning environments where students can thrive.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my husband, our two amazing daughters, and our sweet dog. I’m passionate about helping teachers feel confident, connected, and prepared to make a lasting impact in the classroom.

“A teacher affects eternity; he can never tell where his influence stops.”
