My name is Robin Ward. I was born and raised in Illinois. I graduated from Northern Illinois University in 2010. In August 2010, I traveled over 1,000 miles to teach at Occohannock Elementary. I learned and grew as an educator throughout 10 years of teaching 5th and 6th grade. I also met many wonderful and encouraging teachers and community members. My husband and I have two beautiful daughters and an adorable dog. In 2020, I accepted the position of Coordinator of Professional Learning at NCPS and I am eager to help support teachers create an academically rich and safe learning environment.

Teaching can present its challenges, but it is also incredibly rewarding to witness the growth and success of our students.
