March 17th, Eastville – Northampton County Schools are proud to announce their outstanding performance at the recent Tidewater Region 9 Odyssey of the Mind Competition. The teams exhibited remarkable creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills, securing notable placements across various divisions.
Under the guidance of dedicated coaches, the following teams achieved remarkable results:
Problem 3 Division 1, led by Coach Williamson, secured a commendable 3rd Place.
Problem 5 Division 2, under the guidance of Coach Stein, also clinched the 3rd Place position.
Coach Ford's teams displayed exceptional prowess, with Problem 3 Division 2 and Division 3 both earning 2nd Place, with the latter team also qualifying for the State Championship.
In an outstanding feat, Coach Ford's Problem 5 Division 1 team emerged victorious, claiming the coveted 1st Place title and securing a spot in the State Championship.
With two state-qualifying teams, Northampton County Schools are now poised to compete in the upcoming state championship. The entire community extends its congratulations to the talented students, dedicated coaches, and supportive staff for their remarkable achievements.
